7 TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

I’ve packed & re-packed my lauggage 5 times in the past week to ensure that I have everything I need and nothing more- b/c let’s face it, it’s Europe – I will do some shopping and even though I already have plans for my husband’s lauggage on the way back, I need to make sure I have the space for all the dammage ;) I took out some things & added others, but these 7 items remained at every re-shuffle, b/c well, they’re essential! What are yours? #1: Cross body bag: Comfort & convienience – those are the two words…

Calling all foodies & cocktail lovers! I recently discovered two gems & I just know you’ll get hooked like me as soon as you give them a try! Ready to eat the best food and sip on the yummiest drink? The decor is super trendy & upbeat: palm…

WEDDING SEASON – SMILE BILLIANT TO THE RESCUE

Wedding season is all about smiles! I got married last year and the at home teeth whitening kit I used seriously gave me the confidence to smile all day long. I’m a huge coffee addict, I drink 2-3 cups a day to be functional and I like my coffee black – no milk, no cream (you must be thinking ‘yuck’ but that’s the only way I can drink it now). Honestly, if I don’t have my 2nd or 3rd cup in the pm, I simply can’t do anymore work! I tried the whole ‘drink coffee with a straw’ thing,…

TERRASSES BONSECOURS

Montreal in the summer = Terraces! Being cooped up at home all winter long, there is nothing better than catching some rays on a terrace – preferably in an up-beat ambiance, with a cold pitcher of Sangria ;) Now that’s what life’s made off. There are a bunch of places to choose from, but there is one that has me hooked: Terrasses Bonsecours! Located on the edge of Old Port, it offers the following: a crazy beautiful view of the old city (and the new carousel), great music, the biggest assortment of sangrias (Champagne Sangria, Mojito Sangria, Lichi Sangria….you name…

HOME ESSENTIALS

Home sweet home! Except… It’s been almost 5 years now that my hubs & I have been living in our condo and it’s still unfinished. Bare walls, missing light fixtures, random blue wall in the bathroom that doesn’t match anything – you name it, we’re the worst. I blame it partly on laziness, partly on the lack of time, but mostly b/c I’m really picky. I analyze everything at least 100 times before it crosses my doorstep. This year I decided that I will finish the place and make it home-y (challenge accepted)! So far, I’ve accomplished 2 things: got…

BATIMENT B

It’s good for the mind & soul to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city on the weekends sometimes. I would say it’s good to disconnect from technology as well, but I’m glued to my phone, so I won’t lie to you. Last weekend I had the pleasure of venturing out to Terrebonne to try out Batiment B. I love terraces and even more so when they’re located by the water, and that’s exactly what we got :) The atmosphere was peaceful & relaxing as you listened to the current of the St Lawrence river, but fun…

MISSFRESH

Cooking? Who has time for that – am I right?! I mean you need to find a recipe, drive to the grocery store, bring up the groceries to your condo just to realize that you forgot half of the ingredients, drive back to the grocery store and then most likely give up on cooking b/c you’re too exhausted from the day. I think this is the reason I hate cooking – but, eating out all the time is not an option. I’m into clean eating lately and let’s face it, most food out there is not exactly healthy. So, I…
